Have you ever looked it the mirror and not been happy of what you see. This happens to me sometimes. Especially when I am trying on clothes. The sizes vary in every store, but that makes me feel insecure. Because I am happy with how I look, but having to try on 2 sizes larger than normal makes me wonder if I should start exercising more.
Luckily I am not the only one who feels insecure about this. And I feel like there is a real movement starting to change body images. Not only do woman not want to be told how to look, but they start fighting the bigger companies to create realistic sizes and role models.
Woman are posting blogs about the struggles with body images, little girls are fighting being called to heavy by explaining why BMI is stupid and companies are abandoning photo shop. Shops are opening for woman with an sexy size and a boyfriend with size s even tried on his girlfriend’s clothes (XL) to prove sizes are stupid. It is happening everywhere. And the fight against a negative body image has started.
What is it that is happening here? I think people are embracing their selves and they want to show who they are.
